Mend Veritas Reset After Power

How do i reset my alarm(Veritas ins036) after a power cut?

I have a Veritas ins036 alarm. We've just had a power cut and the power has been restored. However, the alarm is showing all the lights at red and when i press the buttons nothing happens(no tone or anything). Does anyone know if you have to do something specific after a power cut as this is not mentioned in the manual?
