Mend Veritas Reset Alarm After Tamper

How do you reset a veritas alarm after a tamper?

My dog chewed through the cable to the break glass detector on our alarm system. I reconnected the detector and reset the alarm by cutting the power and removing the battery but I still cannot get the alarm to reset. All the zone warning lights remain on and then it will just bleep continually until you unset

Code in then hit reset.

Buy a new battery first :)

Mains off before you open it up,check the AUX fuse whilst you are in there,fit new battery....I'm expecting the bells to ring on connection of the battery so put code in to silence.

Close panel....restore mains power then reset the system with user. Code or engineers code if required.
