Mend Hyundai HT15X11-200 15 Couple Hours

Fixing my Hyundai HT15X11-200 (15" TFT)?

I'm not quite sure what's causing the issue (which I'd like to know!) but after being on for a couple of hours or so; initially the screen momentarily blacks out (as if doing an AutoSetting) then after a while the screen scrambles (visible but displaced) and the front control panel freezes intermittently. If I manage to switch it off from the panel at this point I cannot switch it back on (have to yank out power lead)

Anyone got an ideas of what's causing it? Or how to repair?

seems like the backlight is going or gone, i have that, just trying to find a new screen, seeing if i an mod a touchscreen in to turn the opc into a mini jukebox for my flat.
