Mend Phillips 25PS20S121 Power Switch Broken

the power switch is broken?

On my Phillips 25" tv, model number 25PS20S121 the power switch is not functioning correctly so I was wondering how I would replace it. I've bought a new switch and I want to know what to do next. The tv will not turn on.

It's rarely a faulty on/off switch which stops a TV switching on. Unfortunately, TV repair is not a DIY job.
