my indesit evolution we16s uk keep blowing the electrics why?

i have an indesit we16s uk washer and today it started blowing the trip switches in my house, then it smelled of burning.


on examination i could see nothing obvious, but i managed to reset it and it ran ok for about 1 minute then blew again, is this a common fault, now i cant even open the flaming door to remove my clothes. i cant even remember when i bought it and whether or not it is covered by warranty. no error codes on screen though. please help me, i cant afford an engineer or a replacment as i am on benefit.. fanx all..
