Mend Polti Vaporetto 2000 Switch Light Water

Polti Varporetto 2000?

Hi

When I switch my steam cleaner on the 2 switched light up but the water don't heat up anymore. Has anyone got any ideas as to the cause.

You'll need to check the element to the tank. If you can get access, there should be internal fuses or the element is open circuit. The element is located on the side of the tank, disconnect on one side and check continuity between the two larger 'tabs'. Should be a few ohms - so it might be a thermostat fault, if there is no reading it is 'open'. You can return them to Polti but will be at least £75 plus parts.
