can my color tv be fix at home?

i have a 55 inch hitachi the color is seperated red blue and green its like you can see there pictures each with its sepreate colors its said to cost like 4 to 5 hundred dollars to fixs at a shop is it something i can do from home to improve the picture and not dish out so much cash
