parts for my Craftsman Lawn Mower 917.388300?

I cannot seem to find parts for my Craftsman 6.0 HP lawn mower Model number 917.388300, specifically it needs a new pull start assembly (cord is frayed) and a new muffler.

I needed parts also, and I just posted a want ad on Craigslist, and Freecycle, in my area. Look for your area, in Craigslist, and Yahoo Groups for the freecycle in your area. You'd be surprised how many people will just give you their mowers for nothing.
