how do i bypass my escort immobiliser?

how do i bypass my p reg escort 1.8L ghia immobiliser i have tried everythink i know and all i keep being told is go to ford there the only people who can help surely there must be a way without paying over the top ford prices please please help me

sean if you take off the inside door panel and remove the door lock,attached to the door lock you should find what appears to be a thick white washer type thing this might be your immobiliser.If this is broken then your key will not activate/deactivate you immobiliser.So try switching it manually.This worked for me hope it works for you too.
