how do i reset the immobiliser on my for mondeo?

Hi Darran, the key you have is a normal key the red spot is the immobiser transponder the "red" key is the master key that allows you to reprogram new keys, without the "red" master you will have to go to a main dealer to get new keys programmed

thank you Nigel. I am new to the car and if poss could you help a little more? I was told we needed two keys for my Mondeo (R reg) one was supposed to be black and one red. But the key i have is only black with a red spot on the top of it. Would that make a difference?

Hi Darran, code 14 is partial key code received likely causes are key partially obscured by other keys or key damaged/faulty
