How can I fix the airbag light on my 2004 Peugeot 206?
My driver airbag light has suddenly appeared and won't go off. I had a similar problem before with a 306 and it was something to do with the airbag cables that were under the driver seat. As my 206 is a 3 door, I figured the same thing might have happened again. So I looked under the driver seat but can't see any cables. Does anyone have any idea if I'm looking in the right place and if yes, what should I be looking for exactly??? Thanks.
You need to replace the "steering wheel SLIP RING" found underneath the steering wheel. you cannot buy this part from peugeot, they will try and sell you the whole unit (stalks etc) search "peugeot 206 airbag slip ring" on ebay, should cost you no more than £20 for the part and if you are a little bit mechanically minded should be quite simple to change yourself, otherwise a mobile auto-electrician could do it for approx £60 - £100 at your home or workplace.

I have the same problem. Took it to the main agent and they checked the error codes etc and said I need a new COMM 2000 box. This is the box on the end of the indicator/light swith unit which also controls the firing of the airbag. Cost:£230

hi,u will have to go to the dealers.i have had the same problem with my 306.if the the light is staying on it means there is a system falt(your airbags will not not work if you have a bump).it will be a dodgy sensor.or u could just take the bulb out...lol
