Mend Black & Decker 20 inch blade hedge trimmer Switch Turned

How can I fix a Black & Decker 20" blade hedge trimmer?

When the power switch is turned on, the motor works but the blades do not move.

The blade assy. costs nearly as much as a new trimmer.

If you disassemble it, look for a crack on the moving blade, near it's connetion to the motor.

CAUTION: as you disassemble, there is a small "washer-like" bushing that travels in the slot of the blade; this can fall out or not even be seen at first, due to the greese in that area.
