how to fix tricity bendix model wdr1243w?

as I turned the machine on there was a small pop then nothing,no lights no function at all,on changing the fuse which was black but the new one would not work so I checked the socket with another appliance and socket worked fine it has one of them fixed plugs could it possibly be the actual plug?I could cut it off and replace.

The machine worked perfect nothing wrong at all so my feelings are that nothing major is wrong.

Would you know if this model has any other internal fuses as that was the noise that I heard trying to switch it on.
