Hello Olga,
You may be able to get the complete harness and foot control from www.tandtrepair.com, the 201 is a very old machine but one of the best ever made, they were originaly black cast iron then they changed to beige aluminium, if you can't get a harness anywhere then do yourself a favour and get the motor and harness complete, it does not have to be Singer, the most common type of foot controls and harness is YDK which you can buy from any good sewing machine dealer, not large store.
Anything else you need to know just let me know, if you are in the UK the complete assembly is easy to get.
