How do I rewire my old Singer 15J foot pedal ?

i have a very old hand singer sewing machine with a bullet bobbin and i have no idea how to thread and use the machine / any ideas it is in a wooden square pattern solid box
with the only ref a plate near the manual handle showing P207413

I have a 15J sewing machine, but the foot pedal is the same wiring in all machines. Go to vintagesingers group at yahoo.com and in it (after free signing up) you will find the complete wiring diagram in the files section. You can also post a question to the group and they are very helpful folk. Another neat site is www.needlebar.com For more specific sewing machine repairs, go to sewingmachinerepair at yahoo.com.
