Mend IDL LCD27TV006 Screen Blank Light

IDLCD27TV006 screen is blank too?

Exactly the same as the previous question, power just shut down and now the standby light just blinks Seven times before pausing then blinks again.

My mother explained there was screen corruption just before it went dead? Have tried using just the AV signal still nothing which brings me to believe it is screen related not freeview?

All answers gratefully received.

I have the same problem with the same model. I'm a complete novice but wanna fix it myself (Low on money just after christmas and only 17). How do i go about replacing the capacitors/where are they located etc. All help would be brilliant.

ive also done some of these sets and agree fully with the writer re decoupling of the inverter supply, c330 will also cause this, we have had a spate of these failing also with the fsd200 (5v psu standby ic failing)
its not meaty enough, it also fails on the technosonic 3251 sets.

Hi done a few of these now... can be faulty capacitors in the power supply which provide 24 volts for the backlights.
If 24 volts is there the inverter panel is faulty and is not supplied as a spare part by bush only as a complete lcd panel display which is more than a new set.
