Mend Matsui MAT42LW507 Television Repair Screen

My Matsui MAT42LW507 tv is stuck in standby!!!?

Whilst watching my tv, it went into standby mode (screen went blank and blue light came on). When I try to switch the tv on, the blue light fades but that's about it. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and if it's repairable?

i got the same problem and the same telly. no recept to take it back. how do we fix it??? :-(
