i have a logik lcxw30nn6 television?

Just dump it and buy a new tv. I also made the mistake of buying a logik having been lied to by an assistant at currys who told me they were a good tv well known in the U.S not so much over here. 3 repairs later I finally snapped and binned it. I'll never buy anything at Currys again so long as I live.

my lcxw30nn6 screen comes on blue then goes black , any ideas (do these TVs have a projector lamp ?)

I too have a similar problem, after a few seconds the screen turns like a checker board with tecnicoloured vertical stripes - any ideas?

I think you will find its the inverter gone. What happens is one of the 8 transformers goes bad, the TV starts up, however the inverter control chip senses something is not right and shuts it down. If you strip the TV, and measure the resistance of the transformers, it should be apparent which is faulty. I bought a replacement transformer for £15 but this needed soldering to fit. You can buy a reworked inverter for about £65. There is a website devoted to this type of fault !. P.S. what do computer specialists know about fixing TV's ?.

Iv'e got the same problem with my 27inch logik. I was informed by a computer specialist that the software needs resetting, which can be done by holding down certain buttons whilst the power is on stanby. I have had no luck so far because I do not know what the combination of buttins are. If this isn't the problem then apparently it is because the processor has gone?
