How do I remove the filter on my indesit WM12X washing mashing?

is the filters the white things inside the drum well i think mine snapped off it wont stay on ?

I tipped the machine backwards a bit which stopped some water coming out and loosened the coins so I could unscrew the filter.

Just had this problem. I found that if you just give it a light knock with your hand every time it stops turning, it will free it up. Managed to get mine off without breaking anything, and found two coins inside. Bit of a stupid design, to allow coins to have this effect but there you go.

You/ll have to force it anticlockwise. A penny will have jammed it. You'll probably break the plastic inner but it will probably cost a couplen of quid. I/ve just had the same problem and recovered £3.20 in loose change.

Hello! My Indesit WD106 washing machine all of a sudden won't do a wash (dial keeps going round) and is half full of water. Should I try to clean the filter? There is no round hatch on the front to remove - just a panel the width of the machine below the machine door which I can't get off! Would really appreciate your help as I've been hand washing for weeks!

it unscrews but if theres something stuck in it it may be hard to undo try turning back and forwards
