Indesit WD12 washer-dryer fault code and moving dial?

My Indesit WD12washer-dryer has gone into fault mode with the control knob continuously clicking round. The indicator light seems to flash ten times then pause, flash ten times then pause and so on. I have cleaned the filter (finding a 5p piece)and reset using the dot but still does the same. Can anyone help pinpoint the problem.

It's a heating problem, usually caused by the PCB.

Typical - I've found more info for 8 flashes on washerwise.co.uk :"It's a heating problem, usually caused by the PCB. New boards are pretty expensive, or I might be repairable by a specialist. But there's not many specialists around.

If you can get a board cheap, it might be worth repairing, but another compoent might have caused the board to go faulty. And if your going to investigate further, UNPLUG THE MACHINE.

Cheers steevo. I have also trawled & I have found your answer:--
"The error with the light flashing eight times indicates that the heater relay is stuck. This could be a fault with either the pressure switch, heater or the module connections"

search for flashes an this website and the ones you are interested in are:- 'Heater relay is stuck - posted june 05' and
'problem with wd12's posted feb 05' - Good luck but according to the answers on these 2 - yours is knackered.

Apparantly, the dial going round and round means there is an error (no sh*t!) and the 10 flashes is the error code. Mine is doing the same thing, but with 8 flashes. Just started my net search to try to find a list of error codes - if i find one i'll let you know.
