Philips 42FD9932 "Shuts Down" Intermittently?

I read the same question from last year and it was not answered. Is this a problem with the fan, or infrared rays, etc. Did anyone get a definitive answer on the problem with this unit? My unit shuts down intermittently. Sometimes it works fine all day, while other days it shuts down in seconds. Resetting the power strip seemed to help but I think only because it delayed the startup somewhat. Thanks....
