Mend Vauxhall Astra Envoy Fuel Engine Repair

how can i mend a fuel mistake?

i have just been to the petrol station and started to put fuel in to my astra envoy van( 2000 model) after putting around £10.00 in i realised it should have been deisel and not PETROL which i was putting in. I live 20 yards from the station so i drove home . any body know how to get over this mistake without the need for call outs. thank
