All dials and and computer information have stopped working on my Galaxy?
I have a Ford Galaxy which just had a new turbo fitted. After taking it out of the garage I noticed that the instrument panel was not working. The car reved out of control when the turbo packed in until the oil ran out and the then the engine cut out. The instrument panel was obviously affectedn during this heavy reving. There is no visable sign of damage, burned fuses etc. Could any body tell me whether a fuse which is linked to the cluster could be blown. There are some indicators still working i.e. oil/battery light, lights and door open indicators. The digital speedo reading has also stopped. The Galaxy is a ghia X model and has all the fuel consumption displays. When i push the heated windscreen button in the centre console there is some dial movement for just a moment.
It would be a rip off if i sent the unit for repair and found out that the problem was another source.
