Citroen berlingo van 1.8D 600 LUCAS FUEL PUMP LEAK?

citroen berlingo van 1.8D 600 van 1997 with A9A series engine fitted.lucas 052 type injection pump. 150 000 miles. engine perfect but fuel pump has suddenly developed a serious leak around the throttle spindle.can i repair the pump in situ( by stripping the top off and putting in new o rings etc?)or must i buy a recon unit?if recon where around oxford would i get best price one supply only?i used to go to borehams for injectors etc but they are gone now.....can anyone help

I've had this done by a specialist diesel engineer here in Newcastle - not much good to you! However it should be possible is what I'm saying, although it was a Transit I was working on.
Hope my Berlingo can do as many miles as yours!
