Mend Frigidaire FDE336RES1 Sounds Help Metal

Frigidaire FDE336RES1 sounds like it's eating something?

Help! First it was just squeaking, but now it sounds like it's eating metal. It turns and drys fine but sounds awful. Is this a belt or the berings? What do I need to do to fix it?

front plastic bearing is gone (destroyed). Lift top up (2 tabs in front of dryer) and then take off front panel (2 screws). You'll then see the problem
