Mend Fiat Punto 1.2 Sporting Open Stopped Working

How do I open the bonnet on my Fiat Punto 1.2 Sporting ('99)?

How do I open the bonnet on my Fiat Punto ('99), the lever has stopped working - I've looked to see if the cable has snapped but all looks ok - I've even had sum1 jumping on the bonnet incase it was jammed - please help!?

Fiat Fiat Punto 1.2 Sporting Vehicles, Cars Open Stopped Working

You can do it, you have to lie under the car and reach up through the engine bay to the catch, it's pretty much central but is slightly over to the passenger side. Slide the catch and the bonnet will pop up so you can open it from the front like always. It sounds tricky but it's not, honest!
