Mend Fiat Punto Stopped Working Opened

punto windscreen wipers?

my windscreen wiper stopped working but when i opened the bonnet the arm just needed clicked back in place, but now if they are on fast it pops off again, can i hold them on with a bolt or something?

Fiat Fiat Punto Vehicles, Cars Stopped Working Opened

Drill a 3mm(approx) hole through the wiper base(where the arm thats fallen off slides on to). Place a large washer on a bolt and pass the bolt up through the hole youve just drilled. Tighten with a stiffnut and the washer will prevent the arm from falling off again.

You cannot just buy the arm, you have to buy the whole unit for about £110! - or so my local dealer tells me. I am trying to find an alternative at the moment too.

you could try a cable tie but best to get new arm there not to exspensive
