How do you open the bonnet to a Fiat Punto R-Reg?

I just recently passed my driving test (yay) and i brought the car i always wanted, a black fiat punto. Now before i brought it, the previous owner gave me a thorough check of the car and i was happy to depart my cash and drive off. But i wanted to show my family the inside of the car but i cant find the bonnet lever, i've looked under the steering wheel, under and on the side of the driver's seat...i know it's a very dumb question to ask but how do i open the bonnet to my car!
