How do I check the oil in the Hydrostatic drive?

I have a Sears Lt 1000 Lawn Tractor, and recently got some hesitation for the drive to engage in gear. Just before that, I felt the tractor slightly vibrating. Is there a way to check the level, and how do I do that?

Have the same problem myself. Was told the transmission is sealed at the factory and is not servicable. You don't fix you replace for $450.00. I find this hard to believe so I'm tearing down transmision myself this weekend. We'll let you know what I find out.
