how can I fix my mountfield petrol lawnmower?

i could any tell me what kind of fuel i need to put in my mountfield lawnmower it is a gvc135 thanks

Try fitting a see through petrol filter between the tank and the engine. Cost is only about £3 [$4] and you know for sure whether it is petrol starvation. Can't help any further, as I have the same fault, and can't find out why the petrol is not reaching the engine after 30minutes of ok running.

HELLO,THIS SOUNDS LIKE A DIAPHRAM PROBLEM,YOU NEED TO REPLACE THIS BY FIRST REMOVING THE FUEL TANK/CARB ASSEMBLY-REMOVE ONE 1/2INCH BOLT ON SIDE AND ONE 7/16 BOLT ON THE FRONT,THEN CAREFULLY REMOVE THE L SHAPED RUBBER PIPE,ONCE REMOVED,CLEAN THE CARB AND TANK ASSEMBLY,THEN REMOVE THE CROSS HEADED SCREWS THAT HOLD THE CARB TO THE TANK,AND VERY CAREFULLY LIFT THE CARB OFF THE TANK AND WITH THE CARB HELD UPSIDE DOWN CAREFULLY REMOVE THE DARK GREY GASKET AND THIN RUBBER DIAPHRAM,TAKING CARE NOT TO DISLODGE THE SMALL SPRING,REPLACEMENT IS A REVERSE PROCEDURE TO REMOVAL,TAKE THE OLD DIAPHRAM TO COMPARE WITH THE NEW ONE,AND KEEP EVERYTHING CLEAN,BEST OF LUCK,FUGIEIAN.

Check the link rod between the carburetor & the engine i found mine was cracked after catching it under the hedge.
