Mend Mountfield Empress Lawnmower Petrol Self-propelled

Mountfield Empress Handbook?

I recently purchased a mountfield empress petrol driven lawnmower without handbook. It runs and cuts well but I have to push it as I cannot get it to move forward can anybody tell me how to engage the lever to enable it to run forward without pushing THANKS

Hi - if you email a picture of the mower to 'pjsaund(a)sky.com' I can probably supply a user's handbook.

You should simply have to pull the drive handle towards the handlebar. If the mower doesn't move, chances are the drive belt is either broken or worn.
