i cannot put a new code into my alarm without the old code which i have forgotten, any ideas on how to reset the code on my alarm would be gratefully appreciated thank you

i had to disconnect my alarm from the mains for over a hour the backup battery is dead now i cant get the alarm to reset when i put the power back on thanks

to reset alarm nsin puls r is
press 1 then x enter old code then x put new number in all lights will light up an beep then put new number in again hey presto number change thanks

Enter code press 9 then press the corresponding number to which red light is on ( ie: if red light on zone 1 is lit then press 1 and so on light should go out)
then press prog button and reset twice

NSIN are no longer trading I used to work for LSB who supplied the finance they ceased trading in October 2008. I understand that the company has been taken over by another couple who are now trading under NSIN. i had an alrm fitted by them in 2001 and I cannot turn off the door chimes if any one can help!

i have a melcom st6000
the power light is on but there are no other lights on it is just going off in the house and the codes don't do any thing we have had to disconnect the battery.

there are two lights in red kit up, 1 next to PA the other next to zone 4. i cant get any of the buttons to work. can you help?

Default it to factory settings, you'll find this in the installers manual. Try http://alarmhelp.net if you dont have a copy.
