Replacing solinoid on Kenmore washer 80 series (6 yrs old)?
I am not sure how to remove the back panel, there is no small panel just the whole rear and now the cabinet is falling off. I have taken all kinds of srews out and it is still not budging. I am wondering if I am going about getting to the solinoid the correct way because at this point it is going to be a pain in the butt to get back together. I dont think the actual replacement will be difficult, but i have to get to it.
If the back is one solid piece . You don't remove the back, there are two scews holding control panel in front on top remove them. Lift and fold control panel back out of way. Remove plug in cabinet top this is for lid switch. You should be able to lift cabinet up and off completely. I don't no what solenod you are looking for but hope cabinet info helps.
