how can i fix 1999 grand am security system?

my v6 1999 grand am security light come on and then the car won't start. it sounds like the fuel was cut from the engine. what can i do to fix this?

Well the dealer got ya agian because your gona have to find out what code its setting for thr anti theft......if I remeber right we had alot of trouble with the ing cylinders
