have got a older model 28" widescreen hitachi television. lost my instruction book and have had to change my scart lead and now do not know how to tune in television to make my freeview and video recorder work.
You don't need to tune SCARTs. Choose AV1 or AV2 on your remote.

if you have the original remote of this tv, look for a menu key, you should have an install menu somewhere, then do a search for channels. have the video wired up the the aerial socket and a tape you recognise playing.
