I've had the temp probe changed, but the cars still got the same problem? Help ! I'd like to know if anyone has had this problem and actually resolved it, before getting rid of the car very FAST.

Temp probe will prob be faulty. Its the blue one i think. The green does the guage.

Tried the idle control valve no joy !!! I've heard it may have something to do with the air inlet manifold sensor ????????
Anybody know anything about this , or same situation ????

TRY YOUR IDLE SPEED CONTROL VALVE,SHOULD BE ON YOUR AIR HOSE NEAR AIR FILTER BOX.HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH MY ESCORT, HOPE THIS HELPS.
