Mend Hoover 1300 Special Edition Washing

hoover washing machine keeps filling with water?

i have a hoover 1300 speical edition w/m and keeps filling with water on any program and wont stop.
it will rinse and spin but wont wash (could be due to the weight of water) can anyone help please.
