Mend Hotpoint WM72P Fault Machine Tripped

hotpoint aquarius WM72P fault?

Hi, machine gave electrical pop and tripped electrics when cycle started, when switched on again now displays " close door" when you try to start wash cycle. is this a major problem or can i get it fixed?

hi these are well known for faulty door locks its easy to replace the lock and cheap but sometimes when the lock blows it burns part of the circuit board,this also has to be repaired
