model 420 not working?

I have the Stannah 420 and it does not work with either the toggle or remote. I took the cover off and reset it by the switch and green power led came on then when I put the toggle on the #1 red led lit constant but unit not moving. let go led remained lit. then toggled again and #5 led lit constant and when I released toggle, both leds remained lit till I reset the switch. tried with the remote and same thing happened. Any ideas?
