my electric fire won't work?

six year old Dimplex Loxley Fire LXY15 bleeps when switched on but doesn't light. Has been unpredictable for some time. Will light and remain on or just sometimes goes out of its own accord. Now no longer even lights.
Can you suggest a solution? Do I need a new insert fire? Can it be repaired?

Where do I buy circuit board for my yct-100 in northern Ireland but can purchase from anywhere help please would even buy whole new inset if I got one the same to fit in.

First reset the receiver in the fire by switching off its switch and the mains supply from the socket for some thirty seconds.

Next, reset the remote controller: undo the Philips screw on the back, and carefully remove the back. Next prize up the circuit board, complete with battery in its clips, and turn it over. On the back, with the battery at the bottom, you will find a slide switch. Move the switch all the way to the left, pause, move it all the way to the right, pause, and then move it about a third of the way to the left, until it drops into a detente. Now reassemble the remote carefully, keeping the battery in place. If it dosn't work now, you probably need to change the circuit board in the fire. Probably costs about £60 if you do it yourself.
