Siemens Hob Er26?

What does Error Code Er 26 on Siemens Hob (ET875SC11D/02) mean? How do I deal with it / fix it?

Hob makes a clicking noise when I switch on a switch on a rind, particularly in "full ring" mode instead of just inner part of the ring. Then it switches itself off and/or does not allow any use of the controls except to switch whole hob off.

This is a fault code that would suggest that the main power board has failed. There's little you can do apart from changing the pcb for a new part.
