Zanussi WJS 1665W E41 Error Code - What does this mean?

We have a Zanussi washer dryer - everytime the drum turns the electrics are cutting out. This is happening with both the washer and dryer functions. I have run the diagnostic programme which is bringing up the E41 error code. What does this mean? I have checked all the wires in case of a loose connection/burning and everything seems intact. I seem to think the problem maybe between the motor and the drum. The sharp clicking noise when the machine cuts out is coming from near the drum at the back of the machine. The drum when turned by hand is moving freely and is making no noises.
