Mend Toyota Yaris Replaced Battery Car

2008 Toyota Yaris Why is my key fob signal so weak?

I have replaced the battery in my key for my 2008 Toyota Yaris, but the car struggles to receive the signal. I can tell the button on the key is working because the red LED works when I press the button.

I either have to be very close or weirdly I notice that the signal is detected better if I'm stood behind the car. Is there anything I should be looking at within the car to do with how it receives the signal?
