Mend TMC Watch Time Battery

Hi.my TMC radio controlled is loosing time.i?

My TMC radio controlled watch has been loosing time over the last 4 months it is now 5 minutes slow. Dose the battery need replacing?
I have never replaced the battery and have had the watch for many years.
