how can i repair my pullstart please?

hi i have a qualcast petrol hedgetrimmer slk26a
and the pull start assembly was broken and an attempt at repair by previous owner has left it with no springs attached but i do have them.please advise me as to how i reinstall them
as im having great difficulty doing so.many thanks.mark..
