Mend AEG 65011 V1 Aeg Heating Dishwasher

AEG Favorit 65011 V1 not heating - One for Lincoln?

We have an AEG Favorit 65011 V1 dishwasher that is not heating beyond tepid - and I think even that small amount of heating could be from the main motor which is under the washing tank.

Heater checks out OK. The control board relay and associated track are often mentioned as suspect but these all look OK and all wiring looks intact

The next suspect is the thermostat/turbidity sensor or does anyone have any better ideas before I go ahead and order a new sensor?

You really need to actually fault find with the aid of a multimeter. Check the element with mm on ohms. Make sure resistance is ok. Then with mm on ac voltage check if power is supplied to heater. If not work your way back. Follow wire from heater to next connection. Probably the thermostat. If power is ok on one side of thermostat but not coming out the other side- replace the thermostat. If no power in then follow it back probably to the control board. Is power supplied at the wiring plug on the Board? The turbidity sensor will not stop the heating. You should also Google search for that model number wiring diagram. If you can locate one it would help. Don't go buying parts randomly in the hope that you strike it lucky. So many people waste their money doing that and may as well of paid for a service person in the first place.
