Amana Washer will not go into wash cycle ?

My Amana front loader washer will not go into the wash cycle. It will run the water into the washer then it shuts off automatically Sometimes it will run for a little on the wrinkle free setting but will not drain or rinse or spin. it will not complete a cycle.
