sc1502 kaercker blowing fuses?

I have an sc 1502 model kaercker steam cleaner and as soon as i I push the power button, there is no sound, it is just blowing the house fuse. Any suggestions, please?

Very probably the heating element is defective and has developed a leak to earth - the house fuse tripping will be a safety thing - to prevent electrocution.
