Mend Lexus Brake Light Stays

Brake light stays on!!?

Bought two new lexus rear lights for my Peugeot 206 cc and when fitted both brake lights work but as soon as I turn on the lights the passenger side brake light stays on. All other lights work just fine except when you turn the main lights on. I refitted the old units and everything works just fine.
Is there an easy fix or is it a faulty unit!!?

make sure that the correct bulbs are fitted into correct holders the correct way.sounds like brake light bulb is fitted wrong way [

Earthing fault either in the light assy or in the wiring.

Draw the circuit exactly as it is (look hard at the unit) and work out ehere the fault lies. It will probably be somewhere between the brake lamp bulb and the real vehicle earth
