how can i fix my brake lights, vauxhall zafira 1.6 comfort?

when the side / headlights are turned on:- the rear strip brake light stays on, the side brake lights don't come on, the offside side / tail light not working put new bulb in tried it in the nearside works perfectly.

sounds like brake lights are shorting to side lights,make sure all bulbs are correct type and fitted into correct holders [double contact double filament 21/5w stopand tail bulb has 1 pin lower than other-make sure it's right way in ] you could also have a brake light switch or fuse fault.check above first.
